Potato StampsPotato stamps and other vegetable stamps are inexpensive and easy to make and a lot of fun.
.Knife Cut the vegetables and fruits into halves, quarters, circles or other fun shapes. Apples cut in half horizontally will have a star shape in the middle, green peppers cut in half make shamrock designs. Potatoes can be cut in half and designs cut out like a heart or a star. You can also cut letters from potatoes but you do need to carve these backwards.
Pour the paint into the container. Have your child dip the shapes into the paint and then press them onto the paper.
